Sixteen Turkish natural stone companies will be visiting Australia between the 17th and 22nd of November. Australian architects, interior designers, joinery industry representatives, contractors, and stone consultants will have a chance to have one-to-one meetings with Turkish natural stone company executives.
The visit is organised by the Istanbul Mineral Exporters’ Association (IMIB), a professional, non-profit association which deals with all export activities in the minerals sector with 4500 members.
Turkey is situated on the Alpine Belt where the world’s richest marble deposits are found and is among the world’s oldest natural stone producers.
The company has 300,000 sqm per annum production capacity with a number of quarries and world class process facilities. The US Senate and various Australian shopping malls are among the sites decorated with Alacakaya’s products.
